Returns & Refunds

Last updated: Sept, 02. 2026

At DODO STREET, we want you to be happy with your order.

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us and we will work with you to find an appropriate solution in accordance with our policies and applicable consumer law.

Change-of-Mind Returns

For eligible orders placed online, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within the applicable cancellation period even if the product is not faulty.

If you decide that you no longer want an eligible item, you should contact us within 14 days of receiving the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel.

After notifying us, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

The item should be returned in an appropriate condition, taking reasonable care not to damage or excessively handle the product.

You may inspect clothing in the same way you reasonably would in a shop.

Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy limits any cancellation or consumer rights that apply to your order under applicable law.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

We take product quality seriously.

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Defective or faulty
  • Incorrect
  • Significantly different from the product description
  • Otherwise not in conformity with the contract

please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the problem
  • Clear photographs showing the issue
  • Any other information reasonably required to help us investigate the problem

Photographs are often the quickest way for us to assess an issue and may allow us to resolve the matter without requiring you to send the product back.

Replacement Without a Return

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, DODO STREET may, where appropriate, offer a replacement without requiring you to return the original item.

In such cases, you may be able to keep the original product while we arrange a replacement.

This approach may be used where returning the item would not be reasonably necessary, for example where photographs or other information are sufficient for us to confirm the issue.

If a replacement is appropriate and agreed, we will arrange the replacement in accordance with applicable law.

We may ask for additional information or evidence where reasonably necessary to assess a claim.

This process does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

When We May Request the Product Back

In some circumstances, we may need the original product to be returned before a replacement, refund or other remedy can be completed.

For example, this may be necessary where:

  • The problem cannot reasonably be assessed from photographs
  • The nature of the issue requires physical inspection
  • The product was sent incorrectly
  • The item needs to be examined by a relevant fulfilment or production provider
  • Applicable law requires or permits the product to be returned

Where you are entitled to a remedy for faulty or non-conforming goods, we will handle any required return in accordance with applicable law.

Refunds for Faulty Products

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, an appropriate remedy may include:

  • Replacement
  • Repair, where applicable
  • Price reduction
  • Refund

Where a refund is legally due, we will process it in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in this policy removes or restricts statutory consumer rights.

Returns for Change of Mind

If you are exercising a legal cancellation right because you have changed your mind, the product will generally need to be returned to us unless an applicable exception applies.

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the product while it is in your possession.

Where applicable, the cost of returning a product because you have changed your mind may be your responsibility unless we have agreed otherwise or applicable law requires us to cover it.

Condition of Returned Products

When returning an item because you have changed your mind, please return it in a condition that allows us to assess it appropriately.

You may handle and inspect clothing to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality, similar to how you could inspect it in a shop.

If a product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and its value has consequently been reduced, we may be entitled to make a deduction from a refund where permitted by applicable law.

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.

Personalised or Customised Products

Certain products may be personalised or customised specifically according to a customer’s individual requirements.

Where applicable law provides an exception to cancellation rights for genuinely personalised or customised products, that exception may apply.

This does not affect your statutory rights where a personalised or customised product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

Refund Processing

Where you are entitled to a refund, we will process the refund in accordance with applicable law.

For eligible online cancellations, applicable law may require refunds to be made within the relevant statutory timeframe.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or permitted by law.

Where required by law, standard delivery charges will also be refunded. Additional charges for a more expensive delivery option may not necessarily be refundable.

Promotional and Discounted Orders

Products purchased using a promotional code or discount remain subject to the same applicable consumer rights as products purchased at full price.

A discount does not remove statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.

If an eligible order is cancelled or refunded, any refund will be calculated in accordance with the applicable order terms and consumer law.

Items Damaged Through Customer Use

A product that becomes damaged because of misuse, improper care, accidental damage, unauthorised alteration or normal wear and tear may not qualify as a manufacturing fault.

We may ask for photographs or other information to help determine the likely cause of the issue.

Nothing in this section affects rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Print-on-Demand and Fulfilment

DODO STREET may use third-party fulfilment partners to produce and fulfil orders.

Where an issue relates to production, printing, manufacturing or fulfilment, we may work with the relevant fulfilment provider to investigate and resolve the issue.

The use of a third-party fulfilment provider does not remove or reduce your statutory consumer rights against DODO STREET.

International Orders

Customers outside the United Kingdom may be subject to additional consumer protection laws depending on their country or jurisdiction.

Where applicable, we will comply with mandatory consumer rights that apply to the relevant transaction.

International customers may also be responsible for customs or import charges where applicable, as explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Our Commitment

We aim to resolve genuine product issues as efficiently as reasonably possible.

Where a straightforward replacement can resolve a confirmed product issue without requiring the original item to be returned, we may choose that option to make the process easier for both you and DODO STREET.

However, nothing in this policy is intended to remove, restrict or replace any statutory consumer rights that apply to your purchase.
